Had I wished for all I've gotten
There would have been little hope
With me starting at the bottom
It was not in my horoscope
In fact I had no future dreams
Or desires or yearns to fulfill
I knew I would wind up in Queens
I worked and I did not stand still
Some things I never asked for
Came to me wrapped up in a pack
I didn't want to pay the postage
So I never sent them back
I didn't order so I didn't pay
That was many years ago
Now they are listed as antiques
I'd say that was my lucky day
It does not matter where you are
If you are lucky that's what counts
If you can get some things for free
It's even better than discounts.
