I know my life is not perfect
To all others I give respect.
Even on days when my feelings hurt
I am never snappy never curt
Sometimes I worry about what you think
But when life isn’t rosy it still is pink
Sometimes I worry sometimes I fret
Sometimes I say things I later regret
At the end of the day, I hope you find
That I have to you never been unkind.
But if I’ve said things that have offended
I want our friendship to be mended
At my worst, I can still pull through
Because I have special pals like you
