I can say Happy Christmas to You as often as I please
And when I want to pray I’ll can go down on my knees
Yet you and friends say my beliefs and customs offend
If you want to live here maybe its you who should bend

If I went to your country I would likely be suppressed
And by making the sign of cross be subject to arrest
If I upset the fanatics in your country I’d probably be killed
You don’t have churches and you wouldn’t let me build

You can build your houses of worship and schools here
And each week you can worship without too much fear
You can practice your ways but don’t criticize mine
No religion should teach hate of me at their school or shrine
