I was vey hurt

I promised to forget

Yet I have to be alert

I can’t forgive as yet

You were in doubt

Of my true intent

When ever I was out

That was not frequent

My love had never cooled

From our nest you flew

I felt so fooled

My heart was ripped in two

A new era has begun

Yet I have no feeling

I am the hurt one

My heart is not healing

Maybe you are not what you seem

I am very hurt 
Yet I desire to forget
Still I have to be alert
