I hate the day the clocks go back
Because the evenings now are black
The day they go forward I usually weep
Now I’m losing an hour of sleep.
That hour of sleep I now regain
Because the clocks go back again
I don’t know why some are excited
Doing this at all is shortsighted
The sunlight in the AM is ok on a farm
But I’m still asleep waiting for the alarm
After work, I can’t go to the park
The sun is set and now it’s dark
Just to keep us all on track
They say “spring forward and fall back”
This constant changing I don’t condone
Just leave the bloody clocks alone
