People have come and gone in my life
But you I want to stay
Many have caused me trouble and strife
But you I don’t want to run away
You seem level headed and low key
Not a high maintenance Gal
I don’t think we’d often disagree
You could be my love and my pal
You’ve seen me up close I’m not harmed
I’m never hot-headed or abusive
You need never of me be alarmed
And I would be yours exclusive
With you, by my side, I’d be floating
My love would be real I assure
On you, I would always be doting
And you would forever feel secure.
