Some people look down their nose
Because they like their bit of prose
Off their high horse, they will have to climb
When I write one with a rhyming rhyme
They think that random is much better
Than my lovely rhyming love letter
I have yet to meet a dame
Who was not impressed with the use of her name
In the title or in the theme
It certainly raises her self-esteem
She is not the heroine in a mystery
But she knows her name might go down in history
She also knows it’s harder to compose
Rhyming poetry than it is prose
