I do not have a lot in life
But I have a lot of friends
Who play the violin and fife
And their music blends.
Magicians posing as musicians
I think you know the types
They are fond of Irish traditions
And the sound of pipes
Lifetimes spent in Irish bars
Playing jigs and reels
With others on guitars
Missing home cooked meals
You will be contented
With their ability and style
And the way it is presented
If you stop even for a while.
You will once again feel whole
And be rid of depression
As the music echoes in your soul
Memories of at an Irish session
