A little over a month ago I started a poetry blog

I wrote about a cat and I wrote about a dog

Since November first I wrote a poem a day

Once I wrote a haiku which is really child’s play

Have you ever done something to change another person’s life?

I’m talking about doing it to someone other than husband or wife

If you have never done it before don’t you think it’s time you did

I’ll be over to see you in a half an hour if you’ll lend me fifty quid

I have been on Rhyme all day and there’s nothing from Susan

I always enjoy reading her poems they are so amusin’

Maybe she’s taking a few days off just like Angie done

When she comes back she’ll tell us she had a lot of pun.

Ever have a day that is so frustrating?

Waiting for something to happen, it’s irritating

So instead of sitting there suffocating

Write something which will be captivating

We are waiting.
