Northeast
Snow © tony Fallon 120917.
The snow is
falling lightly
They said it
would only be a shower
And the
temperature would go up slightly
But it’s
getting deeper and deeper by the hour
I can only
imagine the smile
On the face of the man who sells trees
Last week he
had a big pile
And the thermostat
said fifty degrees
He told me
one time his margin was very slim
And surely
he’s the man that would know
He had to
sell lots of trim
But you can’t
sell anything if you don’t have snow
So like
every place on earth not everyone is happy
Up here in
the frigid Northeast
Especially
when the weather gets snappy
Two weeks before the big feast
