The woman hated her husband and wanted to get rid of him

But she fell into the river and didn’t know how to swim

She had been feeding him medicine to make him blind

But he found out and thought she was very unkind

She was going to push him in but he just stepped aside

And into the raging waters went his once loving bride

She begged him to save her before she would croak

But he shouted back that he couldn’t swim a stroke

He said the best he could do was offer up some prayers

That God would forgive her sins before she got upstairs

She was no match for the river and did not have endurance

He and his girl friend are on siestawith her life insurance
