If you don’t
believe in Global Warming
Speak to
someone engaged in farming
Here’s a
thought that should make you sober
They are
saving hay in the Catskills in October
For home
heating there has been no cost
It hasn’t been
cold enough even for frost
On the lake
there are still a few swans
And I
haven’t even thought of my long john’s
There are
still many leaves on the trees
And the
temperature is often above 70 degrees.
While the
weather here is unusually warm
Over in Ireland
they are awaiting another storm
With winds
that are far in excess of a breeze
Potential
coastal flooding and many falling trees
Meanwhile
the polar cap keeps melting faster
We are like
lemmings headed for disaster.
Nonetheless
we have doubters in our midst
And
plausible statistics are hastily dismissed
