Happy is the man with a place to sleep
Especially if the landlord is not a creep
And tends to all the repairs and the upkeep
Then charges a rent that is not too steep.

Happy are many women to lay their weary heads
With the love of their life in double beds,
Who don’t believe the rumor that is widespread
That he is screwing around with the office redhead

Happy was the couple who had a child
Who was always content and often smiled
This ideal situation soon got spoiled
When daddy by a redhead was beguiled.

So Mommy and Daddy got into a big fight

Next morning the red head took an overseas flight

Now Daddy is so sorry he is so contrite

But he still has to sleep on the sofa at night.
