I looked at my watch and it’s just after noon

We are twelve hours already into June

I still have pains in my elbows and my knees

Tonight it’s only going to be forty nine degrees.

After all the cold and winter storming

I was looking forward to a little global warming

When I mention this warming don’t think I’m snide

Because I honestly think it’s a problem worldwide

It’s just I do not want to turn on the electric heater

And go outside and see the spinning meter.

If I can’t go swimming this week end I will screech

I had plans on being two days at Orchard Beach.
